This book could not be any more nineties, to paraphrase NME magazine, than if it came with a small 1995 calendar attached to it. I’m guessing the ghostie of the time - the ever-faithful Peter Lerangis - thought he was pretty with it, but reading it twelve years later it is delightfully dated.
